Oh my god, this has been the busiest weekend of my life. I seriously think so. Begining a recap from Friday...
it was a rally day, and as we all know I love ML rallies because they are so great. So I didn't go out to my car after fourth period and get in, and Ashveer didn't just jump in and say "where are we going?" And we totally didn't drive off campus to Jamba Juice, then to Taco Bell because we changed our minds. We absolutely didn't get a ton of food and talk about random shit like Girl Scouts and our english class, and he did not prank call the ML office. And we especially didn't get back just in time for Ashveer to finish his english essay, which he had obviously not just started.
Then after school was TWIRP which was a blast. Deuter, Deuter. He is just so amusing and easy to talk to and fun. His mom got me yellow roses, which I love. I've always like yellow roses better than red ones, and as she put it, it's a symbol of friendship, so the night was not awkward in the slightest. Parking at Macaroni Grill was awful. The actual dance was kinda lame because we had to wait in an awful line to get into the gym, and then another for pictures. But we hung out with Janice, Tali and their dates the whole time. It rocked.
The next day I woke up early for the friggen practice SAT (after getting home at midnight the previous night... it sucked) and proceeded to waste a perfectly good Saturday morning in the ML cafeteria. At least there was Thiersten and Ellen to keep me amused. After that I actually was able to relax for the rest of the day.
Today, I woke up early yet again to put up my finished mural onto the wall of the Greenhaven North Cabana Club. Oh my god my Gold Award is done. I am so, SO relieved and happy (although I won't be all that relieved until I receive my letter of acceptance). The pic is really bad quality, but there you go:
I'm holding a drill, by the way.
And then after that was finished, I went to Shannon's to play DDR, roll newspapers, and watch Hercules (the Disney version!). After that I got the last signature I needed, filled out the application for my lifeguarding class, and here I am now.
So yes, this weekend's been absolutely exhausting, I've had to wake up early every day, and it doesn't get better as I'm taking the real SAT this Saturday. But after that's done, all my March obligations will be over with, and spring break will soon be upon us. Yes. |
